It was my childhood passion for helping people, longing for social justice, and desire to make a difference in the world that pushed me to attain my Masters in Social Work from The Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. I have continued to strive to live out my life’s mission to make a difference throughout my 17 years as a social worker.
I am fully-trained as an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist through an EMDR International Association (EMDRIA)-approved training program. EMDRIA ensures the highest standard of quality in the practice of EMDR Therapy. I am also a member of EMDRIA to help me remain up-to-date on effective practice and to provide good clinical care.
Infusing creativity, authenticity and, at times, even humor in my work, I have worked in a variety of practice settings, including partnering with men and women in substance use recovery and providing community education presentations. Branching out into private practice has been a long-time dream, as I find joy in helping clients attain wholeness and healing. I would love the chance to be a part of your recovery journey!
